BSB40807 - Certificate IV in Frontline Management
Course Introduction:
The nationally recognised BSB40807 Certificate IV in Frontline Management qualification comprises a suite of business units that provide the knowledge, skills and behaviours for leaders in a dynamic business environment. Frontline Management refers to the first or middle level of management. Frontline Managers are typically co-ordinators, team leaders, supervisors or project officers who oversee or manage the day-to-day operations of a business.
The units delivered by Care Training Australia are designed to provide a balanced program of theory and contemporary awareness relevant to successful business management. The program requires students to observe and document workplace practice and procedures. The workplace becomes the classroom as students improve their management skills on the job.

Upon successful completion of the program, students will be awarded the nationally recognised qualification BSB40807 Certificate IV in Frontline Management.
Pre-Requisite:
• Students who have not successfully completed Year 12 with passes in both Maths and English or Certificate IV or higher in Australia will be required to sit a literacy and numeracy test. This can be completed through Care Training Australia.
• Successful applicants must provide proof of Australian citizenship, permanent residency or an appropriate visa.
Credit Transfer:
If students have already successfully completed units within the qualification, credit can be granted within our program.
Recognition of Prior Learning & Current Competencies:
Competencies gained through other formal study or experience may be acknowledged through a recognition process.
Job Prospects:
Graduates from this program may work as supervisors, team leaders or frontline managers across a wide range of organisations.
Opportunities for Further Study:
Articulation into a diploma or advanced diploma in Frontline Management may be possible.
Course Length & Delivery:
The program is offered with in the workplace, and is to be completed within 12 months. Support is provided by a facilitator throughout the program.
Assessment:
Competency is assessed through a combination of assignments, role plays, workplace projects, class exercises and other assesments.
