TAA40104 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
Course Introduction:
The Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAA40104 is a qualification designed to give graduates the skills and knowledge to gain competency as a Trainer and Assessor in the vocational and adult education sector. This program trains you to train and assess others in your industry.
Qualification & Recognition:
Upon successful completion of the program, students will be awarded the nationally recognised qualification Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAA40104.
Pre-Requisite:
- Students who have not successfully completed Year 12 with passes in both Maths and English or Certificate IV or higher in Australia will be required to sit a literacy and numeracy test. This can be completed through CTA.
- Successful applicants must provide proof of Australian citizenship, permanent residency or an appropriate visa.
- Students will require a computer with speakers and broadband internet.
Credit Transfer:
If students have already successfully completed units within the qualification, credit can be granted within our program.
Recognition of Prior Learning & Current Competencies:
Competencies gained through other formal study or experience may be acknowledged through a recognition process. Students who have previously completed the BSZ40198 Certificate IV in Assessment & Workplace Training qualification may gain RPL towards the current TAA40104 qualification.
Job Prospects:
Graduates from the program may apply for work as a Trainer and Assessor or Consultant in a variety of education and industry based organisations.
Opportunities for Further Study:
Articulation may be possible into the Diploma of Training and Assessment.
Course Length & Delivery:
The program is conducted online, however some units may require classroom participation. The program is self paced with a maximum duration of 12 months. Support is provided by a facilitator throughout the program.
Assessment:
Competency is assessed through a combination of assignments, portfolio, projects, interviews and classroom practical delivery demonstrations.
