Pre-requisites
Prerequisites To secure a place the student needs:
Permanent residency evidence
Documents to supply could include passport with residency visa, birth certificate or citizenship certificate.
Literacy and Numeracy test
Students who have not successfully completed Year 12 or Certificate 4 or higher in Australia will be required to sit a literacy and numeracy test. This can be completed through CTA. For Certificate IV in Nursing all applicants will be required to sit a literacy and numeracy test and for Medication Administration all applicants will be required to sit a short test to ensure competency to complete this course.
Permanent residency or an appropriate visa
Permanent residency or an appropriate visa, and meet vaccination requirements prior to clinical placement.
Interview
Certificate IV in Nursing requires a 15 minute interview. Medications Administration students no interview.
Payment
Payment of deposit / full fee as per registration form.

- Permanent residency evidence – passport with residency visa, birth certificate or citizenship certificate.
- Police check – 12 months validity for placements
- Inoculations evidence from registered general practitioner – Mantoux (TB) test – negative result required, Hepatitis B (at least commencement of course of 3 injections) and tetanus.
- Evidence of any prior qualifications gained in Australia, including certificate and transcript of results or statement of attainment.
- Evidence of Nurses Board registration for Medication Administration prospective students
