Course Introduction:
The course in Basic Emergency Life Support qualification gives graduates the skills and knowledge to recognise and respond to life threatening emergencies using basic life support measures only.
Qualification & Recognition:
Upon successful completion of the program, students will be awarded Statement of Attainment in HLTFProviding Basic Emergency Life Support.
This unit stands alone and incorporates the content of unit HLTCPR201A Perform Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
Credit Transfer :
If students have already successfully completed units within the qualification, credit can be granted within our program.
Recognition of Prior Learning & Current Competencies:
Competencies gained through other formal study or experience may be acknowledged through a recognition process.
Course Length & Delivery:
The program is delivered either on workplace or on campus at CTA.
On Campus or Workplace: The program duration is 6 hours which runs over 1day
Assessment:
Competency is assessed through tests and class participation.
