Course-Certificate-III-AgedCareWork-CHC30102 - I was given an opportunity to study Certificate III in Aged Care Work at CTA. During my studies I gained useful knowledge on how the aged care system works. The main focus of this course was to educate us about all the aspects of an Aged Care environment, while keeping in mind the quality of life for our ageing population. We also learned all the processes of ageing and how to take care of our clients in any given situation, whether that is in a home environment or at a facility. Other core units were hygiene, safety procedures, client well being, legal procedures, activities, and all the different stages of ageing such as dementia and other illnesses. Everything that was taught in the class we were able to put it in the practice. This amazing experience made me realise how important this course is and how much the Aged Care Industry needs courses like this to educate staff on correct procedures. Not only do the students benefit from this working knowledge but most importantly the clients reap the rewards. I would recommend this course to anybody who wants to work in the field of Aged Care. The course was fantastic and well organised. If you are truly dedicated to the development of your career then CTA is a great starting point. Course: Certificate III in Aged Care Work - CHC30102 - I did my Cert III in Aged Care through CTA and now I am currently studying Div 2 nursing. I'm very happy to have the same teacher with her encouragement and studying hard I received great marks for my A+P exams. I am very lucky to have such a caring and lovely teacher. Clinical placements were very well organised, which I really enjoyed. The classes were fantastic too. I was in a small class of 10 students which was great, as we were able to learn a lot more. This was really helpful in regards to the workplace. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone who wants to go into nursing.
